Simple, safe, and natural body lotion with zinc oxide and titanium dioxide for SPF protection. Now, you can have a natural sunscreen lotion without breaking the bank!
This listing is for one 8-ounce glass pump-top bottle of my super gentle mineral sunscreen lotion. No bells or whistles on this creamy natural formula. Light and uplifting fragrance of neroli and ylang ylang is absolutely delightful – and hypoallergenic, so it won’t irritate your skin or sting your eyes. It is very light and not at all greasy, and will not cause blemishes. Made with non-micronized zinc and titanium dioxides, you don’t have to worry about exposing yourself or your children to harmful chemical sunblocks or nanoparticles. This lotion applies easily, absorbing very nicely to give an invisible finish. You may find that it is unnecessary to use any stronger SPF than 20 for normal every day use. Even my very fair-skinned redhead does not burn when using this lotion, and he plays outside in the bright Colorado sun for hours at a time. Just reapply a little more frequently than you are used to, and you will be fine!
Because it is free of irritating fragrances and other yucky stuff, this is also an ideal all-over moisturizer for those with light-sensitive skin, such as babies, people with chronic skin issues, allergies, or healing tattoos.
Please be aware, my products are not tested or approved by the FDA, and no claims are made as to the effectiveness of this product. It is a body lotion, with the addition of zinc oxide and titanium dioxide (for “color”). My research sources indicate that the proportion of minerals I include should provide an SPF of approximately 20. My product test group rated it as equally effective as 30 SPF commercial sunscreens. I cannot guarantee that you will have the same results; you must use this product only at your own risk. This is not a waterproof formula, so it is not meant for play in the pool or at the beach, and might need to be reapplied if you get damp or sweaty. Please note that the use of sunscreen on babies under 6 months of age is not generally recommended because it can interfere with their skin’s ability to regulate temperature via perspiration. The best protection for babies is a hat, shade, umbrella, and/or long clothes, but if you must use sunscreen on babies, please monitor their temperature carefully and don’t let them over heat.
