Split ends and broken cuticles have met their match! Our new hair and cuticle balm is not really new – I’ve been using it for years to keep my long hair soft and hydrated at the ends, minimizing splits, breakage and frizz. I love using our herbal vinegar infusion as a hair conditioning rinse (check out our customer feedback!), but for the very tips, and around the frizzy “halo”, I always use a little bit of this oil to give it a little extra love. Just pull out a small amount with your thumbnail, and rub it between your palms and then press your hands together along the bottom 2 inches or so of your hair. You barely need any product at all, just a teeny smidge. It will not leave your hair greasy – it absorbs very quickly with no residue. Your hair will feel softer and smoother and healthier. You will be amazed at the difference!
Also use it to moisturize, strengthen and nourish nails and cuticles – use just the smallest of dabs along your nail beds and cuticles. This little jar will last for a very long time!
This formula is a solid at room temperature, but quickly liquifies at body temperature. You will want to keep it in a cool place. If the product melts or separates, just give it a quick stir and pop it in the refrigerator for 30 minutes and it will be good as new. You will receive 1/2 ounce in a thick walled glass jar, which can easily be reused in your spice cabinet or as a convenient container for salad dressing or other toppings in your lunch bag.

Coconut oil is a very simple molecule, with a low molecular weight, and that means that it moves very quickly into your hair shaft and skin cells, without evaporating or causing water loss. It has been used for hair and skin health for thousands of years all over the world. It is rich in vitamins and minerals which bind to hair proteins and add strength and resilience. Horsetail Extract is high in silica compounds, which are important building blocks for strong collagen – tissue found in hair, nails, bones, and connective tissue. Using horsetail extract for your hair adds strength and shine. Rosemary essential oil brings a shiny gloss to dull and dry hair.
