My Aromatherapy Mist is made with very simple ingredients – water, peppermint, and a gentle dispersant (to aid in the oil and water mixing). What do you do with it? Spray it in the air, on your skin (I recommend the bottoms of your feet – try it!), on your pillow, on a hanky you bring with you in your pocket, whatever you think would be helpful! Just don’t spray it near your eyes or mucous membranes.
You may be wondering about how such a simple product can make such big claims. First of all, none of my statements have been evaluated by the FDA and are not meant to treat, cure, or heal any physical, mental or emotional condition. But you can google as well as I can and see for yourself how much scientific research there is about peppermint’s influences on the mind. Have I personally tested any of these effects and proven them to be true? Well, yes and no. I have tested them, and for me personally, all of them are true. In my science class, we often test effects of different aromas (as part of our brain study), and my students have also found many of them to be true. But I am a science teacher, and so I believe nothing can be proven. Maybe peppermint is just a powerful placebo. Either way, it smells terrific!
