A touch of zinc oxide adds some sun protection to the healing power of infused calendula and chamomile oil for a multi-purpose balm designed for the most sensitive skin. Commercial sunscreens should not be applied to babies under 6 months because their skin is extra efficient at absorbing the chemicals in skin care products. Zinc oxide is the only accepted sun protection ingredient for babies, and even better, ours is non-micronized, so you can feel secure applying this balm to even the youngest babies’ skin. Clothing and shade are the best protection for babies’ fragile skin, however, and helps them regulate their temperature more easily as well. This balm provides some additional protection while also serving as an excellent diaper balm. Packaged in a 1oz glass jar, perfect for carrying in your diaper bag. A little bit goes a long way, so this jar will last you quite a while. When empty, please refill, reuse, or recycle the jar.
